Vilmers, a respected Lithuanian furniture manufacturer, had been constrained by an outdated brand image. Despite their innovative modular furniture designs, they struggled to break through the market with a modern approach, and their offerings weren’t resonating with the right audience. To address this, they sought a rebranding to replace their dated look and inconsistent messaging with a more refined and forward-thinking identity—one that embodies Scandinavian quality and design.

 

 

Challenge

Since its founding in 1997, Vilmers has grown and adapted, but their production methods and brand image had not kept pace with the evolving market. In a competitive, trend-driven industry, it became essential to highlight Vilmers’ strengths and forward-thinking capabilities. To remain relevant, they needed to connect with both trend-conscious consumers and B2B clients, while showcasing their well-established expertise in comfort, a core value that has always set them apart.

Solution

A comprehensive rebranding was implemented, with a focus on enhancing quality and experience. Vilmers’ commitment to nature and sustainability was seamlessly blended with Scandinavian design, creating a soft, calming aesthetic. Every element, from written content to technical product sheets, was updated to rejuvenate the brand. By emphasizing their expertise in comfort, Vilmers successfully differentiated themselves in the market, appealing to both style-conscious consumers and corporate clients.

With a focus on nature and comfort, a film series was created to elevate the Vilmers brand to a new level. Keeping the Vilmers brand journey in mind, it was essential for the films to feel more like fashion than a production unit based in Lithuania. A motion-feature sofa was paired with a modern dancer, a green velvet sofa was set against rolling grasslands, and an outdoor fabric sofa was placed along the costline. 

The film series also showcased the brand’s collaboration with designers, as well as the ”From Nature to Sofa” concept, highlighting the production process in connection with their commitment to sustainability.
